About Jonas Burén

Background
Accepted as doctoral student 2016
M.Sc. in Psychology, 2014
B.Sc. In Psychology, 2012

Research interest
Development psychology with special emphasis on adolescent teens, internet habits, sexuality and psychological aspects of body image.

Current research
My research is part of the research project OWN YOUR BODY funded by Forte. Together with Carolina Lunde, PhD. With this project we aim to investigate sexting (sending of nude or semi-nude images and videos via mobile phones/Internet). Here we want to know what young people think about it, why they do it, possible benefits and risks, and if they are differences between groups.
