About Sofia Calderon

  • Research assistant 2013-2015
  • BA in psychology 2013

Research interests

Social cognition och legal psychology. Member of the research group Criminal, Legal and Investigative Psychology (CLIP).

Current research

I currently work in a collaborative replication project. We will attempt to replicate basic empirical studies on which the social cognitive theory Construal Level Theory (CLT) relies. CLT explains when and why people mentally represent things more abstractly.

My PhD project was on the topic of true and false intentions (i.e., lies and truths about the future).
