About Sandra Buratti

Biography

  • The Psychology program at Lund University 2004-2009.
    In my diploma work I investigated whether children who have witnessed an event are affected by talking with a peer about the concerning event.
  • Research assistant at Lund University 2006-2007, in a project concerning clinical hypnosis.
  • Master of Science in Psychology 2009.
  • Ph.D student at the University of Gothenburg since March of 2009.

Teaching

I teach cognition and social psychology as well as method courses.

Research interests

I am interested primarily in cognition research as well as the research field of judgment and decision making psychology.

Current research

In my dissertation I am investigating the regulation of metacognitive performance in different memory and assessment tasks by making so-called second-order metacognitive judgments.
