Current Research

My dissertation project focuses on the transition to retirement from a psychological perspective. I am particularly interested in which strategies people apply to adapt to changes in their environment after retirement, and how these strategies are reflected in change in  psychological health after the transition.

My supervisors are Boo Johansson and Magnus Lindwall. I am associated with the "Adult Development and Aging (Ada-Gero)" research group at the department. I am also affiliated to SWEAH, the Swedish National Graduate School for Competitive Science on Ageing and Health.
