About Emma Roos af Hjelmsäter

Biography
M.Sc. in psychology 2006. Ph.D. in psychology 2010.
Member of Criminal, Legal, and Investigative Psychology (CLIP).

Teaching
I teach at all levels. Most of my teaching lies within legal and investigative psychology, and interview methods. My topics include memory, social psychology, witness psychology and social influences on memory.

Research interests
My main research interests are eyewitness psychology and memory. In my post doc project ”Child and adult eyewitnesses: Influences on memory and memory enhancing techniques” (2013-2015), I studied for example odours and memory, alcohol and memory, and self-administered interview techniques. Currently, I run the project “Improving eyewitness memory for complex events with odour cues administered during sleep” in collaboration with Dr Julie Gawrylowicz, LSBU, UK. (Sponsor: The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences).
